Better UI to visualize main line and products on it
After years of support, I get reports from a lot new integrators in KNX that it is difficult to see and understand how the main line shows in ETS. The fact that the main line is not an actual line and the products in the main line appears after the lines, are confusing.
There should be a better way to show the main line, maybe as a dotted line or another color and I think it should be first/at the top instead of only products shown in the bottom of the area in the topology window.

Agreed. Students in our KNX Basic courses often struggle with main line (and backbone line) devices sorted after the sub-lines.
At least in ETS 6.4.0 the main line name/label is shown instead of the area in the Topology view.

Fully agree. In ETS 5 the topology order was intuitive: the main line was shown as its own line at the top of the area, followed by its devices and then by the sub-lines, so the structure in the tree matched the physical hierarchy of the installation.
In ETS 6 the main line devices appear below the sub-lines, and the main line itself isn't displayed as a separate line, which makes the topology much harder to read, especially for beginners who are still learning how areas, main lines and lines relate to each other.
Showing the main line (and backbone line) as a distinct element with its devices listed first, as it was in ETS 5, would make ETS 6 much easier to understand.1
