ETS report missing user description

Dear Sirs,

I would like to submit a feature request regarding ETS reporting.

Currently, in ETS reports, the information shown for devices mainly includes: Physical address, Manufacturer data.

However, the user-defined device description (the description entered by the project designer to identify the component in the topology and schematics) is not included in standard reports.

This creates a practical limitation:

The report does not clearly reference the actual component as identified in the project documentation or schematics.

To compensate, the same information must be duplicated in Group Address names or comments, which is not ideal from a modeling and maintenance perspective.

Feature request:
Please consider adding an option in ETS reports to include the user-defined device description/name associated with each physical device.

This would: improve readability and clarity of reports. Avoid duplication of information in Group Addresses. Better reflect the designer’s project structure and intent.

Be especially useful for documentation, handover, and maintenance.
