1. Group table
The group table of a device contains all Group Objects that can be activated on the bus, the object table is entirely defined by the manufacturer. Which Group Object or set of Group Objects of a device are active on the bus is defined via its (device) parameters.
Both the size of the group table as the order of the Group Objects in the group table are fixed and defined by the manufacturer, and cannot be changed by ETS.
2. Address table
The address table of a device contains all Group Addresses that are assigned to its Group Object(s). The Group Addresses are added to address table in the same order as they have been assigned to the Group Objects of the device (or vice versa) in the ETS project.
The maximum number of Group Addresses that can be added to the address table is defined by the manufacturer, and cannot be changed by ETS.
3. Association table
The association table of a device contains all links between the group table & the address table. These links are added in the same order as the Group Addresses have been assigned to the Group Objects of the device (or vice versa) in the ETS project.
The maximum number of associations that can be added to the association table is defined by the manufacturer, and cannot be changed by ETS.
