A KNX blinds function requires two Group Addresses. The first Group Address links the move up/down object(s) of the rocker(s) with the move up/down object(s) of the blinds actuator channel(s). Move up/down objects have a data length of 1 bit. The second Group Address links the step/stop object(s) of the rocker(s) with the step/stop object(s) of the blinds actuator channel(s). Step/stop objects also have a data length of 1 bit.
Visualization
This requires an additional Group Address that links the absolute position object(s) of the blinds actuator channel(s) with the absolute position object(s) of the visualization. These objects have a data length of 8 bit.
Wind Alarm
This requires an additional Group Address that links the wind speed objects of the wind detector and the blinds actuator together. These objects have a data length of 16 bit. The wind alarm device sends the wind speed information on the bus. The blinds actuator receiving this information compares it with an internal threshold wind speed (set via a parameter), if the outside wind speed reaches the (internal) threshold then the actuator will move the blinds up in oder to secure them.
