As of early 2025, the KNX Association has implemented a self-service procedure designed to facilitate project repair requests for its customers.
Prerequisites:
- Customers must possess an ETS license of the latest generation.
- Customers are required to purchase the project repair service and complete the payment through MyKNX in the Shop section.
- Customers must have a file available for repair in .knxproj format (additional file formats may be supported in the future).
If you require assistance in repairing a file that is not in the .knxproj format, we are still able to assist you. However, please ensure that you purchase the project repair service through MyKNX, following the steps outlined below. Afterward, please submit a project repair request, and we will initiate the project repair process.
How to process a request:
- Log in to your MyKNX account, then navigate to Shop > KNX Services.
- Review the costs, terms, and conditions in the provided guidelines link, then initiate the request by clicking the Project Data Repair button.
- Click the 'Request a Repair' link in the top right corner. Previous requests will be listed on this page with additional details.
- If you do not meet prerequisite number 1, the process will automatically redirect you to purchase an ETS license. If you already have the license, proceed with step 6.
- If you do not meet prerequisite number 2, the process will automatically redirect you to purchase the Project Repair Service. If it has already been paid, proceed with step 6.
- Finally, you can submit the request details as shown below, ensuring that you follow the constraints outlined in prerequisite number 3.
- The KNX support team will acknowledge receipt of your request details and will process them at the earliest opportunity.
- You may return to this list at any time, engage with the KNX support team through the chat function, follow up via email, and monitor the status and outcomes of your request at your convenience.
