When targeting ETS 5 or higher, bus interfaces can be modeled explicitly using BusInterface elements.
Falcon support for USB interfaces
For KNX USB interfaces, an USB INF file has to be provided, so Windows can recognize the device.
The INF file should be added as Baggage File to the product data, with the option "Install On Import" set to true.
When enumerating USB devices, Falcon 2 will pick up all INF files from the Baggage directory and copy them to [CommonFiles]\EIBA sc\Falcon\USB.
Falcon .NET (Falcon 5)
Falcon .NET uses a different approach: all known KNX USB interfaces are included in a single knx_interfaces.xml file which is maintained by KNX Association. ETS 5 automatically notifies the user if a new version of the file is available online and is able to download and install the new version.
To have a new USB interface included in the knx_interfaces.xml, please contact KNX Association and provide the following information:
·USB Vendor ID and USB Product ID
·KNX Manufacturer ID
·Display Name (and possible translations)
