It is often possible to re-use parts of an application program in another application program, e.g. parameter types.
You may create an MT project containing such commonly used elements just for the purpose of re-using them (a sort of "library" project).
The most effective way to work with sich a library project in KNX Manufacturer Tool is to temporarily add the library project to the MT solution you are working in:
·Select "Add existing Project" from the solution context menu
·Then copy the desired elements from the library project to the current project. This may be complete files, or just some elements (e.g. parameter types). When copying elements via Drag and Drop see the hints in chapter Drag and Drop how to best organize windows. Alternatively, you can of course also use Copy and Paste.
·When done, select "Remove" from the context menu of the library project
Since there are some differences when targeting ETS3 or ETS4/ETS5, you should use different library projects for ETS3 and ETS4/ETS5 to avoid the need to manually post-process the result.
