Update application program version

With some products, it is possible to automatically change the application program to the latest version using the ‘Update application program version’ function. In this case, the settings and the linked group addresses are retained.

Confusing is the ‘Change application program’ function. Various application programs can be selected here. However, all settings and the linked group addresses are deleted.

In my opinion, a message box should appear as soon as you select a different application program under ‘Change application program’. Are you sure you want to change the application program? All settings and group addresses will be deleted. Would you prefer to update the application program to the latest version instead?
