Read / Update an existing Project

The company that built my house and KNX home automation went bankrupt 10 years ago. I don't have the program. The KNX company that I contacted to make the updates tells me that they have to redo the whole program for the +15 modules. Is it correct? Is there no way to read the existing program and make updates? Thanks for your help.
