Feature request search by serial number

I would like to submit a feature request regarding the latest KNX update. The new functionality allowing downloads without the use of Siemens address by ID is indeed a commendable enhancement.
However, I propose the incorporation of an additional feature that would enable users to perform searches directly by serial number. This enhancement would significantly streamline the process of locating a device within a project, particularly in scenarios where only the serial number is available, and the topology number is not at hand.
I believe the implementation of this feature would greatly enhance user convenience and efficiency. Your consideration of this request is highly appreciated, and I look forward to any updates or information regarding the potential inclusion of this feature in future updates.

Dear Tony, thanks for your Feature Request.
Do you see this as an additional Diagnostic Function? I.e. Find the Device with a specific Serial Number (and show me its Details such as Individual Address etc.).

I see it more as the ability to type in a serial number in the Search bar.
