problem with ets 6.2.1 update

Thanks to Adrian I tried switching off the power saving mode and it instantly worked.
Hope this helps everyone experiencing the same issue.

problem with ets 6.2.1 update
for some reason will not download, i checked my internet connection but it will not work.
it only says "download error"

Had the same error and used the debug log to find out that is was caused by Windows being in energy saving mode. After disabling the energy saving mode I could download the update. Could you please try that and post a short update?
I contacted the support but they wanted me to post it as a feature request which I not (yet) did. In addition I would see it as a bug to have a too generic error message.

I did a complete full install to update. This solved my problem
