Stop re-adding Desktop Shortcuts after ETS updates

I'm a user who doesn't utilise desktop shortcuts (there's a whole start menu/taskbar that was built for that...), please stop re-adding desktop shortcuts after every ETS update if a user has deleted them in the past/chose not to add one during their initial installation process.
