Produc data base preferred language is not respected

I have been experiencing problems with the selection of the product data base language. Even selecting the product preferred language as English, wich I know it is made available for all manufacturers, most of the times because my students use ETS preference language in Portuguese, and even with the product data base prefered language in English, when we introduce the products from the online catalog, this are introduced in the the project in German. And we know that this products are available in English, because we train people using it and in my ETS we already have used them in English.  

We can only change it to English, after update the product it self on the catalog, some times using the "update from product store" or "update from Online Catalog". It is not linear wich one makes the correct update. 

This is creating a lot of problems during the trainings since it is random and time consuming during the KNX trainings.

I have discussed this issue with some other colleagues and clients, frequent users of the ETS, most of them started to use the ETS also in English and apparently this problem is not so frequent.

Anyone knows what is the issue and if it is possible to correct it? Do we need to use the ETS in English? Choosing a different market on the update of the online catalog has any interference on this?
