Different access roles can be assigned to members of an organization in MyKNX. The assigned role determines which organization and NextGen educational institute functions the person can access.
Before assigning a role, the person shall first be added as a member of the organization.
Go to Account → Members → Add person
The following general organization roles are available:

| Administrator | Organization profile, Products, Members, Orders/Invoices, Offers, Applications, and Vouchers Note: Once this organization becomes a NextGen educational institute, it will receive all the comment notifications with regard to the (updated) NextGen educational institute application sent by KNX Association. |

During the application process for becoming a NextGen educational institute, and after certification, NextGen-specific access roles can be assigned. The following roles are available:

If the KNX Teacher is not yet a member of the organization, the teacher shall first be invited by entering their email address in the Staff section of the NextGen application. The application for becoming a KNX NextGen educational institute can only proceed after all invited KNX teachers have accepted their invitations. |
