KNX connection via existing LAN network between 2 buildings
There are 2 buildings with IP network between each (LAN cable linked between each).
We are going to implement KNX solutions onto these 2 buildings. There is one KNX cabinet each building.
But we would like them to be connected as single KNX network.
Is it possible to use their LAN cable connecting to IP router each cabinet?
Or we shall need to re-wiring an isolate LAN cable network between each cabinet?

You can use IP routers for this on an existing LAN network, you need to be sure the LAN network can use multicast.
Use the IP routers for line couplers or area couplers depending of the size of the KNX in this buildings.

Thank you Torstein, this is well noted.
