Is it possible to get a 2nd choice for product language under “settings” in the “language” tab.
We want this because we would like to use bus participants with our own preferred product language(s) in ETS.
An example of this is the Suntracer from Elsner, which is not available in the Dutch translation.
We always get the German translation, but our 2nd preference language is English and not German.

Hello, this will not bring anything because if the language is not displayed, it means that it's not there or not complete.

I think this is a nice idea, if ETS don't find the preferred Langue it tries to find a second choice before selecting default.
The "Display Algorithm" could have one more step before trying using manufactors default language, as this is manufacturer specific, containing a user specific fallback langue.

If the product doesn't have a Dutch translation, the default language will be used, which in this case is German. To resolve this, you can delete the product, clear the database, change the settings to English, and then re-add the product. I believe the default language should be set to English, and having a second preferred product language as an option could be a good idea.

I cannot agree with the statement that it does not bring anything, most manufacturers have standard language English and German available. Only ETS makes the choice to make it German if your own preferred language is not available. We prefer English as the second standard language. That is why we propose to have a 2nd choice option. And indeed if this language is not available, then the ETS algorithm can be used.

ce serait très utile, pour les applicatif qui ne sont pas traduit dans notre langue,
et évité de faire comme sur ets3, ou on le passais en anglais, puis en français, pour avoir cette seconde langue...1
