The educational institute can be a secondary school, college or university that offers non-commercial KNX NextGen courses to its apprentices. KNX NextGen courses are given by KNX Teachers who have successfully passed the Basic course exam. Students who have successfully taken an NextGen course at one of these educational institutes, have the right to be called 'KNX Apprentice', meaning that they have received an elementary training on KNX during their education.
