Index was outside the bounds of the array
Problem:
When using ETS 6.4.0, the following error may appear when working with a plug-in device in Compatibility Mode in combination with Secure Tunneling.
Solution / Workaround:
Follow these steps to avoid the error and to commission the device.
- Open the project containing the plug-in device in Compatibility Mode.
- Perform the required device configuration using Compatibility Mode.
- After completing the configuration, open ETS Settings.
- Navigate to Presentation tab.
- Change the Mode from Compatibility Mode to Native Mode.
- When prompted, restart ETS to apply the change.
- After restarting, continue programming the device in Native Mode.
After switching to Native Mode, the device can be programmed/commissioned without encountering the error.
