Configuration
In the context of KNX IP Secure (see here) KNXnet/IP Router can besides 'Secure Commissioning' also offer 'Secure Tunneling'.
In order to use Secure Tunneling, the ETS user shall for each KNXnet/IP Router set upon project creation its:
- Authentication code
- Commissioning password
The 'Authentication code' is a kind of user ID, the 'Commissioning password' refers to the password set during commissioning.
Using in ETS
In order to use (already) configured Secure Tunneling connections, the ETS user needs to specify the corresponding 'Authentication code' and 'Commissioning password', ETS will offer the available tunneling slots accordingly.
Using outside ETS
In order to use (already) configured Secure Tunneling connections, the from ETS exported 'Keyring' (see here) in order to specify the corresponding 'Authentication code' and 'Commissioning password' can be used.
In case of Falcon (see here): consult the 'KnxIpSecureTunnelingConnectorParameters' Class in the Falcon SDK documentation.
