Taking the offline theoretical exam

For definition of an offline exam please go to: Difference between online and offline exam.

1. You have received two files from the KNX tutor:
   • knx-examtool-x.x.x.zip
   • KNXxxxxxx-FIRSTNAME-LASTNAME.knxexam (exam file)
2. Unzip all the contents of the zip file, run the KNX Exam Tool.exe file (application), select the exam file and load it.
3. Reply to all statements by selecting the radio button 'True' or 'False'. If you do not know the answer, skip the exam statement and continue with the next statement.
   
4. Once the last exam statement is presented, you have the possibility to review all answers. Each individual statement can be reviewed by clicking on the 'Edit' button.
   
5. Click on the 'Confirm answers' button to finish the exam. The exam result is at this stage not shown to you.
6. The KNX tutor will now collect all extracted files from your computer and will upload the corresponding exam answer file in the MyKNX account of the training centre. Once this is done, you will be able to see your exam result in your personal MyKNX account.
