Adding parts in buildings view expands the menu structure automatically

When adding a room or device expand the container automatically to be able to see what has just been added. At the moment adding a room to a floor means the floor has to be expanded to see the room and the natural next action is to add a device in the room.
the just added part is hidden until it is expanded out
would also be useful to have an expand all and contract all button for the menu structure

Hello Gordon, you can expand collapse all in the treeview by using the keyboard shortcuts / to collapse and * to expand. See also here: https://support.knx.org/hc/en-us/articles/360021517899-Tree-view

Thanks Vassilios It would be good to add that keyboard shortcut to the shortcuts page in the settings as it is not currently included

No problem Gordon! It’s Windows default, that’s why it’s not mentioned. Only ETS-specific shortcuts are added.

Hm, automatically expanding the tree-view is “expensive” from the performance point of view, as everything will have to be calculated upon opening…

I think what Gordon means, if you add your first device to an empty room, you don't see the result of your action.
After adding the device, you need to manually expand the room to see the device.Also in the the starters training I noticed participants accidentally add 3 or 4 times the first device of the training suitcase.
