Like any other KNX device, bus interfaces shall have a unique Individual Address, also called a 'local Individual Address'.
| Individual Address | Displays the Individual Address or allows the Individual Address to be edited. The Address free? button checks whether the currently entered address is already is use by another device. Clicking OK will set the Individual Address. |
| Domain Address | Only for PL and RF. |
| Is there a repeater? | Only for PL. Every participant in a PL Line must know whether there is a repeater in the PL Line. An entry must be made here manually as to whether this is the case. |
Connections can also be switched/changed via the Status Bar.
In order to avoid communication problems with devices outside of the local bus line, the Individual Address of the local interface needs to be configured properly. So please make sure to set the Individual Address according to the topology; i.e. set the local Individual Address within the range of the connected line.
