How to sign up for a KNX course - how to become a KNX partner?

1. Login to your MyKNX account
2. Go to Account - Applications - Subscribe to a KNX certified course
3. Select the course. You will first see training centres from your own country that have published official KNX courses. In this view, it is possible to filter according to: 
   • Online: Only courses that are fully or partially conducted online will be displayed when selected.
   • Course type: select the desired course type: Basic, HVAC Specialist, Advanced, Tutor, Condensed practical Basic, Condensed practical Advanced or Refresher course. Select the Basic course or Condensed Practical Basic if you would like to become a KNX Partner.
   • Country: Select the desired country in which you want to take the course.
   • Lecture language: Select the language in which you want to take the course.
   • Documentation language: Select the language of the training documentation.
4. It is possible to see the course details by clicking on the 'Course details' button that is located next to the course.
   • Only valid for a certified KNX Partner course: Already at this stage, you have the possibility of stating whether you want to be visible on the KNX partner website once you have passed the exams.
5. Confirm and submit your application. The KNX training centre will be informed about your application and will first contact you via other channels (email, phone, etc.) before accepting your application.
   • Please note that it is not possible to cancel the registration for the course once the 'Confirm' button is clicked. In order to cancel the registration, you need to contact the training centre via email/phone.
6. You will receive an email notification once the KNX training center confirms your application.

Prerequisites

• The training centre must enable the course.
• As a general rule, students must sign up before the start date of a KNX course. If, for any reason, the student was not able to sign up for the KNX course before the start date of the course, then the student has to pay attention to the following limitations:
  • Between the start and end date of the course, the student will only be able to sign up for the KNX course by means of the Course Identification number. The course will not be visible anymore in the course list. See KNX course not shown in course list for more information.
  • If the end date of the course has passed, the student will not be able to sign up for the course at all:
    • Should this be the case, then please contact KNX Association by creating a support ticket
• A student can only register for a course if there are still open seats.
• The student must sign up to the course considering the following restrictions, i.e.,
  • A regular customer can only sign up for the following courses:
    • Condensed practical Basic
    • Basic course
  • A KNX partner can only sign up for the following courses:
    • HVAC Specialist
    • Refresher course
    • Condensed Practical Advanced
    • Advanced course
  • A KNX partner holding the KNX Advanced certificate can only sign up for the following courses:
    • Tutor course
    • HVAC Specialist
    • Refresher course
