Becoming a KNX certified training centre allows an organization to provide officially recognized KNX training and gives access to a range of benefits and resources provided by KNX Association.
Benefits for KNX certified training centres
A KNX certified training centre:
- can issue official KNX certificates to students who successfully complete the course and exam;
- receives discounts on ETS licenses used for KNX certified courses. See Pricing ETS Educational Licenses;
- has free access to the official KNX training documentation, which is regularly updated and available in several languages;
- may use the official KNX Training logo on its website, promotional material, letterhead, business cards and other communication material;
- can publish and promote upcoming KNX certified courses on the KNX website;
- may receive publicity for its KNX training activities through KNX communication channels and
- is entitled to participate in the KNX Training Centre Conference organized by KNX Association.
Training centres that are also certified to offer KNX Advanced courses receive all KNX ETS Apps free of charge.

Business opportunities
Becoming a KNX certified training centre also provides organizations with the opportunity to expand their existing training activities and develop their own KNX training offering.
A certified training centre:
- determines the course fees for the KNX courses it organizes;
- can expand its existing training portfolio with officially certified KNX courses;
- can organize KNX certified courses at its own training facilities or, where permitted, at another suitable location using mobile training equipment; and
- can offer online training for course components for which online training is permitted.
The training centre is responsible for ensuring that every KNX certified course complies with the applicable KNX requirements, regardless of where or how the course is organized.
