A KNX certified training centre may offer additional KNX course types provided that the applicable training equipment requirements are met and the KNX tutor has the required teaching experience.
The following additional requirements apply to the KNX Advanced course, Condensed Practical Advanced course and KNX Tutor course.
KNX Advanced course
To teach a KNX Advanced course or Condensed Practical Advanced course, the KNX tutor shall have previously trained at least 50 students in one or both of the following course types:
- KNX Basic course
- Condensed Practical Basic course
The training centre shall also meet the applicable KNX Advanced course training equipment requirements.
KNX Tutor course
To teach a KNX Tutor course, the KNX tutor shall have previously trained at least 25 students in one or both of the following course types:
- KNX Advanced course
- Condensed Practical Advanced course
In addition, the tutor shall have achieved an overall result of at least 80% in the KNX Tutor exam.
The training centre shall also meet the applicable KNX Tutor course training equipment requirements.
