KNX certified training centres shall have the necessary computer equipment, ETS licenses and presentation equipment available for the organization of KNX certified courses.
Computer and software requirements
- KNX tutor: The KNX tutor's computer shall be equipped with a valid ETS Professional license.
- Students: Each student shall have access to a computer with at least a valid ETS Lite license. Students may use their own computers during the course, provided that the required ETS license and software are available.
Media equipment
The training room shall be equipped with suitable presentation equipment, such as:
- a projector;
- a smart board; or
- a comparable presentation system.
The equipment shall allow the KNX tutor to clearly present the theoretical and practical course content to all students.
Training room recommendation
Where possible, it is recommended to provide separate areas or rooms for the theoretical and practical parts of the course.
This allows theoretical instruction and practical exercises with the KNX training rigs to be organized in an appropriate learning environment.
