- Once all data have been validated and saved (shown with a check mark), the certification coordinator can submit a request for the official KNX registration of the product and or application program.
- It is not possible anymore to delete the submitted registration application once the 'Request KNX registration' button is pressed.
- In case, changes have to be done to the MT project after having submitted the product for registration, whereby the manufacturer e.g. has to modify the DPT of a certain object, the registration application will first have to be deleted prior to product registration by KNX Association after which the manufacturer can upload an updated *.knxei file thereby using the same unique keys.
- After registration by KNX Association, it will not be possible anymore to request a registration thereby using the same unique keys. If e.g. the application program was updated, then this means that the manufacturer has to upload a new *.knxei file in which the application program version has been incremented.
- The manufacturer can still modify non-certification relevant entries in the MT project before and after official product registration, e.g. translate product data etc.
