      Summary ISO 9001 certification

        Main product OEM product
      Certified stack/physical layer
      • Normal case: ISO 9001 certificate of Main manufacturer available
      • Exceptional case: The subcontractor that has developed the Main product is ISO 9001 certified (see Note 1)
      • ISO 9001 certificate of OEM customer acceptable, but not mandatory. 
      Non-certified stack/physical layer
      • ISO 9001 certificate of Main manufacturer mandatory.
      • ISO 9001 certificate of OEM customer acceptable, but not mandatory.

      Note 1: Required documentation if KNX member takes recourse to a subcontractor company which is ISO 9001 certified for the scope "Design, Manufacturing and final product inspection/testing":

      • ISO 9001 certificate of subcontractor
      • Declaration from the subcontractor that the relevant product is developed and produced at his premises, thereby listing the commercial product name and order number.
