A KNX system stack is the compiled version of code implementing a certain flavor of the defined KNX System profiles, as given in Volume 6 of the KNX Standard. In the case of products containing not yet certified stack implementations or partly certified implementations, the following registration forms shall be submitted to the Certification department of KNX Association (forms are available on the KNX Cloud):
- KNX Protocol Implementation Conformance statement (PICS)
- The KNX PICS allow the applicant to state compliance to the mandatory features of one of the standardized profiles of Volume 6 (Profiles) as well as information on optional implemented features of one of the standardized profiles of Volume 6.
- PICS and PIXIT for KNX Services
- Further information on the implementation of the supported KNX services shall be provided in the PICS and PIXIT proforma for implemented KNX Services.
Only when a registration number is assigned to the stack, the applicant may proceed with its product registration request in the MyKNX Product registration tool.
