Problem
An error message similar to the one below is shown
Cause
This is a problem of the device's plug-in; most of the device plug-ins are single instance software and can therefore not be called multiple times to perform various operations.
The above error message indicates that the plug-in software is already running in the background and cannot be retriggered to perform another action on the related device (e.g. link a group address to a group object).
Solution
Wait until the currently running plug-in operation is completed and try again. The operation might be a device download, an open parameter dialog, etc.
