The reasons why a training centre is not able to create a KNX course, for which it has been approved before, could be the following:
Not possible to create:
- any course at all:
- The expiration date of your training centre has expired. Pay the annual fees as explained in the article: Renewing the subscription of a KNX training centre
- Basic course:
-
Make sure that you have updated your training centre profile, thereby adding the KNX RF S-Mode devices. As of 01/07/2020, a training centre needs at least 1 KNX RF S-mode sensor and 1 KNX TP/RF media coupler, which shall be preferably installed on the training rig of the KNX tutor. Please note that the acquisition of the latter material is only required if the country regulations allow the use of the 868 MHz frequency.
-
- Advanced course:
- Make sure that you have updated your training centre profile, thereby adding one KNX/DALI Gateway and one KNX IP Secure Router per training rig.
- Before setting up KNX Advanced courses, your KNX tutor must have trained more than 50 students in a Basic course. Consequently, when creating a KNX Advanced course in MyKNX, it is not possible to choose this tutor.
- Tutor course:
- Before setting up KNX Tutor courses, your KNX tutor must have trained more than 50 students in a Basic course and 25 students in an Advanced course. Moreover, the tutor must have passed his/her KNX tutor exam with an overall mark of 80 %. Consequently, when creating a KNX Tutor course in MyKNX, it is not possible to choose this tutor.
