In the context of device commissioning, the most convenient way to localize any device is by using its serial number.
The serial numbers of all KNX Virtual devices are being placed in the 'Installation / Configuration' dialog, which can be accessed via the main menu item 'Installation'.
The serial number of any device (except for the interface) can be copied into the clipboard by clicking its corresponding cell in the SN column. From the clipboard the serial number can be copied into the corresponding device property in the ETS project.
