Two tools are available in ETS for the recording, displaying, analyzing and sending of KNX telegrams in a KNX installation as well as for the reading or sending of Group Address values.
- Bus Monitoring (recording and analysis of all bus telegrams)
- Group Monitoring (Recording and analysis of group telegrams. Reading and sending of group address values)
Both monitors are very similar, but Group Monitoring has two additional functions, indicated below.
Behavior
Scrolling
If the last telegram in the window is selected and further telegrams are received, scrolling occurs automatically. A selection in the middle of the window retains the content of the monitor window (even if receiving continues).
