This article explains the ETS presentation settings.
Project Editing
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Warn on delete |
When activated, there will be a prompt before elements are deleted. However, this does not apply when projects are about to be deleted. For safety reasons, there is always a warning and cannot be disabled. |
| Show main and middle groups in the "Linked with" column | When this option is activated, the main and middle group address names are displayed in "Linked with" column if the group address is not part of a building function. |
| Display hex for free Group Address display style | When activated, the Group Addresses in the Free Group Address Style are numbered in hexadecimal instead of decimal. |
| Free Group Address prefix | When activated, a character which identifies hexadecimal Group Addresses can be entered in this field. |
| Default Behavior for Copy Operation |
|
| Undo Level | Maximum number of user actions allowed for the Undo and Redo functions (possible values, 1 ... 200). |
| Report Logo |
All printouts have the ETS logo on the cover page by default. The logo can be replaced with your own logo here. The logo format shall be one of the following: bmp, tif, tiff, jpg or jpeg; for optimal results, it should have the following dimensions: 6.33 cm x 6.33 cm (square). Other dimensions will be scaled to fit this. |
| Prompt for project history | When activated, ETS asks to make a log entry for every open project when closing ETS. Each of these requests can be skipped by pressing the ESC key. |
| Reload last opened Project on Startup | When activated, ETS opens automatically the last modified project when it starts. If more than one project is open at the time of closing, the last project closed will be the one located farthest to the right in the Project Bar. |
Compatibility
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Start in Native Mode(64 Bit) |
Runs ETS in its full native 64-bit environment, providing maximum performance, improved stability, and access to the system’s full memory capacity. Notes: More information here. |
| Start in Compatibility Mode |
Runs ETS in 32-bit compatibility mode, designed for legacy plug-ins or extensions that do not yet support 64-bit. Notes: Performance and memory capacity are lower than in native mode. ETS will restart in 32-bit mode immediately after selecting this option. Compatibility mode can be temporary; ETS will confirm when it will revert back to native mode on the next startup. Also, when a user starts ETS in compatibility mode, an icon is now displayed to indicate that ETS is running in compatibility mode in ETS Dashboard. More information about 32 bit and 64 bit, you can check here. |
User Interface
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Search suggestions | When activated, there will be textual suggestions in the search fields. |
