KNX members have the right to use the KNX logo on publications without any kind of permission. Non-KNX members can only make use of the KNX logo on publications if the following requirements are met:
- Written request to the KNX Certification department with a copy of the page in which the non-KNX member intends to use the KNX logo.
- KNX Association gives written permission for the use of the KNX logo.
- The publication clearly states the following: "KNX and ETS are registered trademarks of KNX Association cvba Belgium and are used with kind permission" (or this text translated in the language of the publication).
