Preferred Product Language
This setting defines the language of the product data (properties, Group Objects, etc.). This language may differ from the ETS UI language, this could e.g. be the case if the product data is available in the ETS UI language. The setting takes effect when ETS is closed and restarted.
Language selection algorithm
Setting 1 : 'ETS Language' => A
Setting 2 : 'Preferred Product Language' => B
Example:
- Suppose that both settings are put to Russian, i.e. A=B='RU' (*)
- Suppose that the following two products are in the catalog.
- Product 1: 'EN', 'DE', 'RU' => P1 (*)
- Product 2: 'DE', 'EN' => P2 (*)
(*)
First language = default language
EN = English
DE = German
RU = Russian
Result: there will be different languages used for both products, P1 will be shown in Russian and P2 in German, i.e. P1='RU' & P2='DE'
