This article explains the project presentation settings.
Project Editing

| Warn on delete |
When enabled, there will be a prompt before elements are deleted. However, this does not apply when projects are about to be deleted. For safety reasons there is always a warning and cannot be disabled. |

Display hex for free Group Address display style |
When enabled, the Group Addresses in the Free Group Address Style are numbered in hexadecimal instead of decimal. |

Free Group Address prefix |
When enabled, a character which identifies hexadecimal Group Addresses can be entered in this field. |

Default Behavior for Copy Operation |

| Undo Level |
Maximum number of user actions allowed for the Undo and Redo functions (possible values, 1 ... 200). |
| Report Logo |
All printouts have the ETS logo on the cover page by default. The logo can be replaced with your own logo here. The logo format shall be one of the following: bmp, tif, tiff, jpg or jpeg; for optimal results, it should have the following dimensions: 6.33 cm x 6.33 cm (square). Other dimensions will be scaled to fit this. |
| Ask for Project History on Exit |
When enabled, ETS asks to make a log entry for every open project when closing ETS. Each of these requests can be skipped by pressing the ESC key. |
| Reload last opened Project on Startup |
When enabled, ETS opens automatically the last modified project when it starts. If more than one project is open at the time of closing, the last project closed will be the one located farthest to the right in the Project Bar. |
| Automatic Object Description | Automatically shows the element specified from the sending Group Address by means of an option in the Description field of a Group Object (Nothing, Group Address Name, Group Address Description). See here for details. |
User Interface

| User CTRL to dock content panels |
When enabled, floating windows will only be docked upon release, if CTRL is also pressed (see here for details). |
| Disable search suggestions | When enabled, there will be no textual suggestions in the search fields. |
| Show 'KNX News' and 'Product Information' |
When enabled, the RSS feed for the KNX news and KNX product information are shown. This requires internet connection. |
| Reset Notifications |
When clicked, all the dialog notifications, in which there is an option 'Do not notify me again' are reset so that they are again visible. |
Security

When enabled, there is a query as to whether there should be a query for device certificates when inserting KNX Secure devices into a project (for secured KNX installations; for details, see here). |
