In this Sidebar container, ETS shows the details for the item(s) currently selected in the active working panel. Here, you can edit all properties of building parts, KNX devices, Group Addresses etc. The properties container will automatically be opened if you double-click on an item in the tree view or in the list view. Usually, three tabs are available for selection.

Comment |
This field is for entering longer notes for project documentation. In view of the considerable length which is possible, comments are not displayed in the list view. |

This tab displays additional information on an item, if available. This mainly concerns manufacturer information on devices and their applications. |
Monitor-related properties
If a telegram is marked, the decoded telegram is shown here. Some basic hints:
Settings

| Raw Data | The raw data of the KNX bus telegram (cEMI format, consisting of service code, service data, does not correspond to the telegram on the bus in every detail). |
| Source name | Device name; "-" if the monitor is not assigned to a project or the device name is not defined. |
| Destination Name | Group Address name; "-" if the monitor is not assigned to a project or the GA name is not defined. |

Comment
No functionality in monitoring, cannot be edited, all inputs will be ignored (is not saved in traces or used elsewhere).
Information
Additional telegram information on the telegram, such as duration, average bus load measured on the local ETS interface (calculated according to KNX specifications), total number of KNX telegrams and a ranking of the most frequent senders and destination group addresses.
There is a button at the bottom to generate statistics with information about recording duration, project statistics, corresponding senders / receivers and group communication statistics (who was sending, who not?) etc.
- The statistics are not reset when the communication connection is switched or the monitoring is started / stopped.
- The statistics are reset when the content of the window is deleted.
