ETS provides a main toolbar (1), which can be used nearly anywhere and also includes a contextual part, which shows specific actions based on the selected panel. Moreover, there is a breadcrumb navigation (2), which allows to navigate to the shown elements without using the tree view.
Main toolbar (1)
The main toolbar contains the following standard functions:
|Adds one or more elements. Clicking the button allows a selection among the elements that can be added in the selected space.|
|Deletes one or more elements.|
When the Download button is clicked, ETS selects the best download option for this device based on the device's flags. Clicking the button allows a selection among the Download variants
Undo action. Configuration of the maximum undo steps can be defined in the 'Settings'. If this number is reached and there are further entries, the oldest entry is always overwritten. This function is a local function. The stored work steps can only be undone as long as a project in the actual ETS-session is opened. As soon as it is closed, all modifications will be consolidated.
