The KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course is a shortened version of the KNX Advanced course intended for KNX Partners who have acquired deeper KNX knowledge through their professional experience and wish to obtain the KNX Advanced qualification.
To attend the KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course, the student shall have successfully completed the KNX Basic course.
Course format
The KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course focuses on practical training.
The practical training shall be organized face-to-face (F2F) using fixed or mobile KNX training rigs.
Course content
The following topics shall be covered during the KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course:

All topics included in the official KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course documentation shall be covered within the required course duration.
Course requirements
The following requirements apply:
- The total course duration, including the theoretical and practical exams, shall be at least 8 hours.
- The student shall attend at least 75% of the total course duration.
- The student shall have successfully completed the KNX Basic course before attending the KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course.
- The practical part shall be taught by a KNX certified tutor.
- During practical training, at least one KNX certified tutor shall be available for every 16 students.
- The practical training shall be carried out using KNX training rigs that meet the applicable KNX Advanced course equipment requirements.

Exams
The KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course includes a theoretical exam and a practical exam, covering error finding, telegram/device analysis, and project design.
Both exams shall be organized face-to-face in the presence of a KNX certified tutor.
The student shall achieve at least 60% of the marks in both the theoretical and practical exam to successfully complete the course.

Certificate
After successfully completing the course and passing both exams, the student receives the official KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course certificate.
The certificate issued for this course type shall comply with the applicable KNX certificate template.
