If your training centre has previously been approved to offer a particular KNX course type but you are unable to create the course in MyKNX, check the possible causes below.
I cannot create any KNX course.
Training centre certification has expired. Check whether the certification of your KNX training centre is still valid. If it has expired, the annual fee shall first be paid before new KNX courses can be created.

I cannot create a KNX Basic course.
Check whether your training centre profile and training equipment are up to date. The training equipment shall comply with the current requirements for the KNX Basic course. This includes the applicable requirements for:
- KNX RF equipment; and
- KNX Secure equipment.

If you have recently added or replaced equipment, make sure that these changes have also been registered in MyKNX. For more information, see Updating KNX devices and training rigs.
I cannot create a KNX Advanced course.
Check both the training equipment and the experience of the KNX tutor.
Training equipment: The training equipment shall comply with the current requirements for the KNX Advanced course. For the complete equipment requirements, see Equipment for the KNX Advanced course.
Tutor experience: Before the training centre can offer a KNX Advanced or KNX Condensed Practical Advanced course, the KNX tutor shall previously have trained at least 50 students in KNX Basic and/or KNX Condensed Practical Basic courses.

I cannot create a KNX Tutor course.
Check whether the KNX tutor meets the requirements for offering KNX Tutor courses.
Before the training centre can offer a KNX Tutor course:
- the KNX tutor shall previously have trained at least 25 students in KNX Advanced and/or KNX Condensed Practical Advanced courses; and
- the KNX tutor shall have achieved at least 80% overall in the KNX Tutor exam.

I have updated my training equipment.
If new KNX devices or training rigs have been added, make sure that the changes have also been registered in the training centre profile in MyKNX.
